A vision board is a powerful tool for creating focus and aligned action in your life. In this three-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of vision boarding and why they work. You will leave this experience with a vision board of your own, with coaching tips for bringing your vision into reality.
Grounded Place founder (artist & life coach) Laura McGann will share tips and techniques for grounding and visioning, creating your board, and acting on this experience. This is a great class to bring a few friends to, or come on your own and meet some like-minded folks!
The fee includes expert Vision Board coaching, an 8x10 wood panel for your vision board, materials, and plenty of magazines for board imagery.
What to bring: Nothing is required. If you have any specific images, photographs, or other meaningful items to include on your board, please feel free to bring them. We also welcome magazine donations (Yes! to mags like O, Magnolia, Wellness, etc). Please also feel free to bring snacks, beverages (wine/beer welcome!), chocolate-covered strawberries, jellybeans... whatever makes you happy!!
What to wear: We won't get too messy in this workshop, but please feel free to wear something comfortable for a few hours of creative time. We're a judgment-free zone, so please feel free to come as you are and wear whatever you want (yes, flip-flops and sweats are most welcome).
Our location: All workshops are held at the Grounded Place Studio inside Holliston Mill, 24 Water Street, Holliston, MA. We're on the 4th floor, right at the top of the stairwell to the left (look for the twinkle lights!). Due to the historic nature of the building, our studio is not highly accessible. You will need to climb two flights of stairs to reach the studio. Parking is free in the front, side, or behind the building. The easiest entry point is to park in the back and enter through the back door next to loading dock B (up a set of stairs next to the truck ramp).
Cancellation & Refund Policy: All classes are limited to 8, with a minimum of 4 to run. We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations. If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit to use toward any future event if you notify us at least 48 hours before the workshop. To cancel and request a credit, you must email us at groundedplace@gmail.com. Workshop credits are not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied to merchandise purchases. We cannot offer credits or honor rescheduled requests with less than 48 hours advance notice.
If a class is canceled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, instructor illness or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class later.
Our workshops require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, all based on the number of students who register. Our finances suffer when students ask to cancel or reschedule at the last minute. As a small business, we cannot absorb these costs and still keep our class prices low.
In fairness to all of our customers, we cannot make exceptions to our policy, including for illness, travel, or work hours. If you cannot attend a workshop at the last minute, gift your spot to a friend! Thank you for understanding.
