Similar to the format of the Suncatcher I workshop, this class includes patterns that are a bit more interesting and challenging. The Suncatcher I workshop (or our comprehensive Beginner's Workshop) is a prerequisite for this course.

Please choose from the workshop dates and times provided below (or email us with your interest if none of these fit your schedule).

All patterns, glass, tools, and additional materials are included in the workshop fees.
You will have a variety of more advanced suncatcher patterns to choose from (see provided images for just some of the patterns offered), as well as a large selection of stained glass.

Your instructor for these workshops is Grounded Place Artisan Peter Grandy. With
over 30 years of glass experience, Peter is a patient teacher, willing to share all his
tips, techniques, and lessons learned over the years.

Class size is limited to 3 to allow for personalized attention. You must be 16+ to attend.

All workshops are held at the Grounded Place Studio (4th floor), inside the Holliston
Mill, 24 Water Street, Holliston, MA 01746.

Safety
The studio is well-ventilated and appropriate for working with stained glass, solder, and related materials. Safety glasses and gloves are available. A first-aid kit is on
location to assist with any small cuts or minor mishaps. You will be required to sign
an Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form prior to starting your first
workshop. Those pregnant or with serious respiratory issues are advised to consult
a physician prior to signing up.

Building Access
The Grounded Place studio is located in a historic building and is not handicapped
accessible. You will climb two sets of stairs to reach our location on the top floor.
You can park at the side or behind the building. The best door to use is at the back of
the building, up a set of stairs next to Loading Dock B.

What to Bring and Wear
Please bring a filled water bottle and snacks if you wish. Eating will be done away
from work areas. Comfortable clothing, closed-toed shoes, and no hanging jewelry
are recommended.
